Where is this Mirror? - Guild Wars Forums

Hi, I'm reading all these things about a mirror self, where is this mirror? I'm already in Crystal Desert.

(yes i have searched the forums, but couldnt find a answer)

Many times he is in the bathroom, often in the sun visor on your car. Many people claim he is on the surface of water.

but, in all seriousness you have to finish the 3 co-op asencion quests, before going to augry rock, and fighting your mirror.

Funny you can't find an answer to that question.. just yesterday I read where someone had pretty good write up about the 3 quests, and how to get to the mirror, etc.

These days people are using the "yes i have searched the forums, but couldnt find a answer" as a cop out. They would rather get an answer right away than have to put forth some effort to find topics of interest on thier own.

The problem is people keep giving them the information they seek, instead of giving them useful tips on what to search for. Kinda defeats the purpose of asking everyone to search first, ask second.

the mirror is part of Mission progression

you cant get to it until you do the 3 Desert missions

And that response took you longer to type out then simply answering the question. The ascension is not terribly clear on how it is done from strictly in game info, and many people, surprise, are not used to forum surfing in games. Some people actually may play the game without reading forums at all, so it never hurts to be helpful to those who ask. IMHO

Sometimes I find that no matter how much I search it comes to nothing because theres so many similar words used in many different things, and sometimes they're just worded incredably badly.

Looking up things like Sigil, and Dye is just pointless because they're mentioned so much.

If somebody else is kind enough to give a person the answers they ask for, why should that bother you?

Sheesh, when somebody pulls their car up next to me and asks for directions to some location in the area, I don't tell them to go buy a map from the gas station first.

What's more, if it wastes so much of your precious time then just don't answer. Writing a rant about it wastes even more of your time doesn't it?

Not only do you not want to be giving, but you don't want anybody else to be either. I think this is the first and only proposal of an anti-good-Samaritan policy I have ever seen.

Disagree. I never did beta, and I didn't ask anyone on my first character and figured out that I needed to prove myself before coming back to Augry Rock. When I first made it there it bacame clear. Heck, Oasis pretty much steers you there and then the ghost spells it out.

I think this game more than any other game I have ever played draws draws a path to where you need to go.

yeah just 'cause the ghosts tell you what to do and it doesnt show up in your quest log, doesnt mean that the game isnt clear what to do

you just have no reading comprehension
